Silverback Strength Systems, LLC is a strength and conditioning company serving Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. From personal training to group classes we have a program for you. Whether your desire is to just get in better shape or become an elite athlete we have what you need.
In addition to sports performance enhancement, Silverback Strength Systems is prepared to present the Industrial Strength Training Program for employees of any business that are required to conduct material or patient handling duties.

Silverback Strength Systems is committed to drug-free strength enhancement and the development of champion athletes and productive workers of all ages.
Who We Are
Silverback Strength Systems was founded by Rick Samples in 2006. As a lifetime drug free strength athlete, he has broken several records in the sport of Powerlifting and has achieved Master classification in the AAPF.
He is certified by USA Weightlifting as a Sports Performance Coach. USA Weightlifting is the governing body for Olympic Weightlifting in the United States.
Additionally, he is a certified instructor in CrossFit (Level II) and in the Tactical Athlete Training System developed by Jeff Martone.
He is also a successful Scottish Highland Games competitor and the Powerlifting technical advisor for CrossFit East.

He was recently a guest speaker at the Applied Ergonomics conference in Orlando, Florida where he presented Material Handling: An Athletic Approach.
He authored an article in Dan John's Get Up newsletter (April 2007). Another article, entitled Iron Mentors, was published in the September 2008 issue of Milo, a Journal for Serious Strength Athletes .
Rick is available for sports performance coaching, personal training or group seminars for teams, individuals or members of the workforce.
