Group Training

Group training is an excellent way to propel
your fitness forward.  Three primary factors
make group sessions an excellent choice.

ENCOURAGEMENT: When colleagues and
co-workers train together in a spirit of
partnership and camaraderie everyone grows.

COMPETITION:  When an element of
competition is introduced everyone works
harder by pushing themselves and their
teammates.

AFFORDABILITY: Training sessions are less
expensive when the group shares the cost.
Services

Silverback Strength Systems offers cutting
edge training programs for individuals of any
age.

These programs can be presented in a group
setting or individually. They can take place in
your gym, your home, or your favorite park.

Don't put it off any longer.  Now is the best
time to take control of your fitness.  Let us

Testimonials

"Rick Samples worked with me after a serious
calf muscle tear and in 9 weeks, by following
his guidance and program, I won the Federal
Law Enforcement Physical Fitness award.
Now that I am 41 years old, surpassing a class
of 43 men and women that were in their 20's
was an amazing feat.    I couldn't have done it
without Rick's help."
                            - Tim Burke

"I've always been fast, tough, & (for a little
feller) strong; a decent bicyclist for most of
my life.  With Rick's guidance on explosive
lifting -- clean & press, snatch -- I have
dramatically improved my mountain biking
ability:  cranking up root ladders, clearing
ledges, and screaming descents.  I'm in far
better shape overall, & a much better rider at
50 than I ever was at 25. I'm climbing stuff now
that my buddies must portage.  Everybody needs
some Silverback Strength!"
                            - Pat Fetter
Owner, CrossFit Salt

"Rick, First of all thanks for reading my email
and replying. Secondly, thanks a million for
the ideas. I usually try to base my workouts
for the week around 6 exercises - Deadlift,
Squat, Bench, Overhead Press, Cleans, and
Pull ups, then do assistance work after I'm
done with the big lifts. But I felt like I was
lacking in explosive/metabolic type training,
even though I do walk daily. But after seeing
how you do it, I'm going to give it a row. Your
training blog is the first program I've seen that
excites me on all levels - kind of like CrossFit
with strength first. I'm a larger guy who does
well with strength and I think pure CrossFit
would eventually wear me down, particularly
my injuries. Thanks again, and I'm sure I'll talk
to you again if I have questions."

Industrial Strength
Training Program

The primary benefits of implementing a
customized industrial strength training
program are threefold.

INJURY PREVENTION:  Our first priority is the
protection of your employees.

LONG TERM HEALTH:  The reduction of lost
work time due to illness and injury benefits
both the employee and the employer.

REDUCED LIABILITY:  Employers who provide
their workers with proper strength training
advice and techniques can reduce liability
and claims of negligence based on a “failure
to train”.

Simply saying, “lift with your legs, not your
back” is not enough.
